Admission Decisions

Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis, in most cases no later than early February.

Rolling admissions means that we evaluate applications randomly; the date you submitted your application often has no bearing on when you will receive a decision. If you have not yet received a decision, it most likely means that we simply have not yet reviewed your application.

Admission decisions are sent by email from Offers of admission are sent in writing, by courier, as well.

Deferrals of admission are rarely granted, and are only granted in extenuating circumstances. Deferrals that are granted are for one year only. Each request for a deferral must be made in writing and will be decided on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the Executive LL.M. Office.

If granted a deferral, you must submit a non-refundable deposit of $1,000 and confirm your intention to enroll by contacting the Executive LL.M. Office. Upon contacting the Executive LL.M. Office, you will be informed of the steps needed to update your application, including pledging not to apply for admission to other LL.M. programs.
